Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is a famous American model and actress. She is also a fashion designer model. Shortly after beginning her acting career Mena Alexandra Suvari starred as a guest on 1990s television shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. The film debut came in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her performances in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to get the BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned more attention from the public, she transitioned into bigger roles. Her next role was Loser (2000) which was a co-production with American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Then she appeared as the lead role in Sugar & Spice (2002). The year 2002 saw her appeared in Spun the independent drama and in 2004's thriller Trauma. In 2004, she starred in the HBO drama Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2005 as part of the Outstanding Ensemble. Suvari was also featured in Day of the Dead, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, as well as the movie versions of The Garden of Eden.
